Description

Thx. Sampled draft @ Beerlovers Bar. Hazy orange, soapy white head. Nose is soapy, interestingly massively lemon, almost lemon peel, cereal wheat, grain. Taste is same, interesting lemon, almost lime peel, faint lemonade, wheat, grain, lemon, doughy, cereal. Easy doughy. Lemon / lime profile really saves / helps these beer, fair take & bit unusual take on witbeer.

Draught Medium snowwhite head over pineapple juice-coloured, fully hazy beer. Citrus, USA hops, kafirleaf, spices (but no ginger? ) More spiciness in the flavour. Coriander, maybe some ginger. Bit toasted, and just a touch of citrus in the finish. Too spicy, overwhelming all else. Other grains. Medium bodied, wheatslickness; good carbonation. Too spicy witbier. 7/4/6/3/12

Bottle recommended by staff at Beer Lovers. Hazy pale yellow color solid white head. Floral aroma. Taste is lightly bitter, earthy, very flavorful for its abv. Not a bad start for a 15 y/o. Now that he's 17 I'm looking forward to more from this guy.

Unclear to hazy, yellow colored, medium+ white frothy head. Aroma is of pale malt, moderate citrusy, spicy and fruity hops. Taste is medium-light sweet pale malt, moderate citrus, fruit and bit spicy hops, bit spicy yeast, medium bitterness, bit grassy, dry finish. Light bodied, average carbonation, bit watery. (bottle, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

2 June 2018. Dag van de Kriek, at 'In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst'. Thanks to Erwin Vanmol for handing out samples! Shared with Anke.
Pours cloudy yellow with a big, lasting, foamy, white head; lots of lacing. Fresh aroma of pine, floral hops, apricot, soap, spruce, unripe tangerine, lemon, lime juice, yeast, some herbs. It tastes light fruity sweet, hints of tropical fruits & bready malt, and light to medium hoppy bitter, a bit spicy; wheaty sourness in the back. Dry, hoppy, piney & resinous finish, quenching. Light to medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Well worth the rerate as my very first impression of this was rather neutral. This sample was probably fresher. Aromatic & tasty at a staggeringly low 3.3%. Cheers to young Jan for the recipe - had a quick chat with him and apparently they're working on a Quadrupel, so hopefully there's more good to come...

Huge, dense, dirty-white head, quite stable over fully hazy light-ochre yellow beer. Very fragrant, blossomy nose with lunaria, but ending seriously catty, ureum; further lemonpeel. Lightly sourish, seriously bitter hopflavour, but again very fragrant, blossomy, flowery, citrus - delicate but strong. Light body, creamy texture, yeast-filled and hopoily. Quite good carbonation. Outstanding for 3.3%. A little gem indeed. 7/4/8/3/16
