(Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 17 Oct 2024) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of bread, grass, herbs and citrus. Malty, hoppy taste with bread, grain, citrus, grass and a mild herbal/grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Fresh and tasty pilsener. Nice one.

Doree, col blanc fin crémeux.
Arôme sur des effluves subtiles de malt fume avec ce cote viande fumée/bbq, le tout appuyé par un léger houblonné fleuri.
Palais est excellent avec ce malt fumé qui est délicat et apporte de fins effluves de bacon et de bois fumé.
Petite touche d'amertume noble virant sur le terreux et une pointe de citronné.
Une très belle réussite du style par LaMule même si l'idée d'une biere fumée n'est pas vraiment dans leurs styles favoris allemands.

Léger ambre/pâle, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé.
Arôme sur un bouquet plaisant axé sur les grains et céréales - rétro toasté, pâle avec un côté 'stale grains' - léger houblonné noble dont des éléments herbacés.
Palais sur une belle base maltée - crisp, léger toasté, amertume fine - agrumes/herbacé, feuilles de thé en infusion avec une séchresse latente - pointe florale.

Märzen from Belgium’s German Lager specialist, can shared with tderoeck. Snow white, medium thick, shred-lacing, opening head on a clear orange-golden blonde robe. Aroma of rusk, dry cookies, dry straw, mustard seed, unflavoured potato chips or cold English chips, hints of toast and very vague horseradish somewhere. Clean, crisp onset, rounded, softishly carbonated with malty core in a cereally, bread-crusty way with faintly sourish edge; a toasty element shows up towards the finish and cooperates well with a leafy, straw-like hop bitter element. Dry, toasty-malty, gently bitter finish, but in all, remaining just a tad too ‘thin’ for a true Märzen – in fact the whole tastes and feels more like it deliberately slimmed down descendant, Oktoberfestbier. I was expecting a bit more from this brewery tackling a lesser known yet classic German beer style, to be honest – Dok did this more convincingly while, ironically, creating an Oktoberfestbier for their Doktoberfest in 2021.

Clear orange beer, small solid creamy bit irregular off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, very rural character, toast, bread crust, millet (?). MF: ok carbon, medium to full body, creamy texture. Taste: very bitter, some caramel malts, metallic touch, raw grains, grassy, a bit medicinal. Aftertaste: grains, more metallic, very biter, grains, hay, a bit stale, more grains, ok.

Burk från Etre Gourmet. Disig ljusgul vätska med högt skum. Gandkacsnällvsyra men klockren stiltypisk berliner weiss. Vete, mjölksyra, citrus och mineraler. Så gott i sommarvärmen
