Known both for classic styles and for flexibility and innovation, Elysian has brewed over 500 different recipes since opening in 1996. While Elysian’s brewers use a variety of unusual ingredients, they are seasonally notorious for their pumpkin beers. In 2015 Elysian joined AB InBevs' family of craft brands.

Slightly hazy pale amber. Malt -forward aroma is bready, with lightly perfumey florals. Full body, lots of malt. Good balance - just enough earthy dryness. Tasty brew.

Nice copper/amber color with an ample tan head. Aroma is hoppy, so is the taste. Taste is a blend of hoppiness, malt, caramel, and fruity tones. Nicely balanced flavor in this esb.

Bottle provided by FrumptyDumpty @ Heavyweight Open House, thanks Ryan. Pours ridicolously black. The aroma is overly hoppy for my tastes, some roastiness in the background. Body is thin, which passes on to the thin taste. Some roastiness and coffee but too weak for me. Feels watery as well.

Bitter chocolate, roasted grain, munerally and berrylike aroma. Black hole coloured, brown creamy head. Nice roatey flavor, full chocolaty with a hint of oranges, nutty, raisins. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Nice chocolate aftertaste.

Cloudy beige colour. Aroma shows big coriander, dust-accented yeast, and a bit of pale malt. The body is firm and more or less dry. Spicy, fruity flavours atop confident pale malts. Not so brave in interpretation but solid in execution.

Draught No head left; amber-foxy beer. Hoppy, discreet USA hops and some cookie malt, even caramel. Nutty, grapey, hoppy flavours. Bitterness makes up the finish. Slick, slightly oily, smooth. Sweet aftertaste, strangely enough. Very good ESB, no diacetyl, bravo!
