Growler shared by jackl. Nice CVille Ratebeer scene finale! Thanks! Near black, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, cherries, roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of coffee. The taste is tart cherry, roasted malt, chocolate, mild booze. Thin for an imperial stout. Tasty.

Dark brown. Bubbly head. Aroma comes across as thin and peanutty. Super rich and deeply fruity on the palate, so quite the bait and switch but in this case in a good way. The body isn’t really big enough to handle all those fruits and all that richness.

Similar to the regular Detention but with green tea. The tea is subtle, shows up mostly on the nose and as tannins in the finish. Otherwise, the base beer is an evenly-balanced, nice DIPA.

Tap at the brewery. Floral hop nose, soft body, lots of bitterness, pretty good balance. Solid effort. Just a nice drinkable DIPA.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with Paul @ Cajun Café. De couleur rougeâtre quasi pourpre profond et trouble, col crémeux rosé. Arôme au bouquet superbement bien fruité, énorme à ce niveau surtout pour une Berliner, fruit de la passion avec une note de fruit du dragon s’apparentant au kiwi qui perce en rétro. Retrouve un côté terreux, légèrement aigre. Palais est énorme qu niveau fruité, superbement bien balancée sans être surfait mais aussi sans avoir un fini lactique trop présent, retrouve ce côté sour mash de Berliner et un assemblage parfit des fruits. Fine note aigre à chauqe gorgée ponctuée pr un très beau profil tropical.

Dark brown. Has a lot of cardamom on the nose, maybe chocolate and a dash of ginger. Tastes more like cinnamon and ginger with light cardamom. A real spice soup.

"Power UP Peach IPA" Cloudy peachy, thin head, very powerful peach aroma, has a lot of bitterness, with a fair bit of peachiness as well. This ends up clashing a bit in the finish, but it was nice early.

Pinkish and hazy. Aroma is mostly hibiscus, with light orange. Orangey taste, light hibiscus, pretty good balance.
