33cl bottle from HopDuvel, BB 17/10/2013.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bier Central // the foam keeps slowly sluggishly crawling out of the bottle, maybe it is the hop they put into the bottle or something // hazy golden with a BIG head obviously, piece of hops stuck in the head which was a bit unnerving because I didn’t know that they put some hop into the bottle // smells sweet, citrus, soapy, touch hop, yeast, white bread // tastes sweet, lemon, tad fake, hay, air refresher, barn, not that much hop actually, spices and touch grass, floral // hazy body // meh at most. doesn’t taste all too good to me

33cl Bottle @ De Bierboom, Brugge on 4th July 2012. Ruby coloured brew with a good sized head of white bubbles on top. The nose was a malt infused blend of yeasty and caramel esters. The taste was also malt dominated and on the sweet side. Dark fruit feel to the flavours with no bitterness, even as the mouth dries. Solid body strength: could easily have been a sweet Stout and in a blind tasting that is what I’d have guessed at.

sampled @ GBF 2012 // light clear golden with a white head // smells sweet, fruity belgian yeast, some banana, lightly malty, decent amount of spices and citrus peel // taste is sweet, lots of fruits, fruity belgian yeast and esters, banana, round citrus with a small dash of peel and some sugar sweet, lots of spices, especially towards the end when it also gets nicely boozy // lightly spritzy and easy to drink // no high expectations but this is pretty damn good actually and interesting

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! A real gusher. Pours hazy, deep golden with lots of sediment and parts of the hop cone floating around. Fruity aroma with malt, alcohol, hops and spices. Fruity with a quite dry and bitter finish. A bit strange, but quite nice. (2012-08-11)

33 cl bottle @ Oluthuone Pekko, BBE 09/2013 as "de Maeght van Gottem"
ot of foaming immediately when opening the bottle. Aroma is somewhat leathery wiith fruits and somewhat tart citron. Flavour is a bit odd with citron, some apricot, yeast and hints of glue. Foamy palate with too much CO2. Apricot notes get stronger towards the end.
