A hazed brown ale with a thin big bubbled off white head. In aroma, grainy malt with light solvent notes, and light woodiness. In mouth, a rather sweet oily and peaty malt with nutty notes, solvent and alcohol. On tap at C’est What’s Festival of Small Brewers, June 23, 2012.

Unassuming aromas, very light caramel ,rock candy, liquorice. Copper color, moderately clear with average head. Malty flavors with biscuit accents. Hoppy finish. No particular flavors are sticking out beside regular malts and hops. Light tasting beer, low in alcohol. Goog malt / hop balance tough. That’ s what I would call a light, quench thirsting, summer beer.

Draught @ Trou du Diable. Cloudy and pale, with a hint of mango. Lots of fresh malts, bright mango and maybe some spice but not as much as some of their other beers (TDD, I mean). The mango comes through nicely in the finish.

A lightly hazed copper red ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet vinous and fruity malt with dark fruits, nice. In mouth, start as a grainy malt followed by strong peppery notes, chili burn, but not overbearing, salty notes, lingering burn in finale, interesting. On tap at Wellington Gastropub, June 19 2012.

From my dear parents who picked up a bottle in Canada: Pours a reddish color with a white head. Aroma is grain and malt. Taste is slightly hopped, but mostly malty. Good balance through and through that would make for a good session ale. I thought it was plenty alright, although it was not really that interesting of an ale.
