Cask at Brew Wharf. It pours deep red-amber with a medium yellow-white head. The nose is red fruits, citrus peel, jam, earth, spice and brown bread. The taste is bitter-sweet, earthy, pine, spice, brown bread, toast, red fruits, grapefruit and resin with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Well-rounded and rather drinkable.

The flavour is strong bitter with a creamy malt liqourice light hop palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation and a long bitter finish. A lovely smooth oily mouthfeel.

Cask at Brew Wharf - Borough Market, London. Pours clear, dull brown with a bubbly white head. Pretty classic bitter here. Plenty of twiggy hops, dried berries, bread, some light, leafy bitterness. Light in body with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish with ripe berry accents and restrained bitter leaves. Straight ahead stuff.
