Associated Venue: Hecks Farmhouse Cider
Established in 1841
In 1896, we started to sell our cider from our farm shop in Street.
We make our cider by blending juice from apples all grown locally in the farm’s orchards. The cider is fermented in wooden barrels and sold draught from the wood.

Sampled from bottle shared with some random strangers (and they payed, nice haha, thanks!) @ Drinkers Pub, Eindhoven. Hazy a bit pale yellow golden color, virtually no head. Smell and taste remind me of the peel of overripe, shrinked apples. And too sweet. At the same time some pear and floral influences come through. Medium dry finish indeed. Meh, not one of my favourites.

Bag in a box at William Stead JDW Darlington. Hazy gold colour with short lived bubbly white head and apple & barnyard aroma. Taste is tangy apple, woody, rubber, barnyard and earthy tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Quite drinkable.
