Description
The Hecks family have been making traditional farmhouse cider in Somerset for six generations, since 1841.
In 1896, we started to sell our cider from our farm shop in Street.
We make our cider by blending juice from apples all grown locally in the farm’s orchards. The cider is fermented in wooden barrels and sold draught from the wood.

Polypin at Banbury Beer Festival 08-05-08 Light golden in colour, really good clarity. This is one robust cider it really knows where its going. Really good fruity zappy apple shock, touch sweeter than expected but finishes with a real punishing tang, feels like my mouth has done a workout, most enjoyable.

An unclear golden cider with no head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of apples, but also light notes of plums and rum. The flavor is sweet apply with strong notes of wood and medium notes of plums and rum, leading to a very dry and woody finish.
