Tap at Slow Beer, Fitzroy. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a big frothy light tan head. The aroma is rich caramel toffee fudge, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich sweet malt, toffee alcohol woody liqourice alcohol bitter palate and a long alcoholic bitter finish. Superb already but this will improve with age.

Tap at the Royston Hotel, Melbourne. Poured a hazy straw colour with no head and a few bubbles. The aroma is crisp watermelon, cucumber. The flavour is acid citrus sour with a crisp, slightly tart, watery fresh fruit, light grainy palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Light but refreshing. Easy drinking and great on a hot day.

Tap. Wit-like appearance - opaque straw, white head. Vibrant fruity aroma w wintery oranges, pineapple, lime leaf. Faintly chalky mouthfeel but no yeasty bite. Tastes like fruit juice with a moderate bitter finish. Best Oz NEIPA so far for me.

(Can) Pours cloudy amber with thin loose short-lived white head. Great aroma with strong pine notes with fruity citrus hints. Medium body with medium carbonation. Plenty of hops from start to finish, but not over the top in bitterness, and foretaste want as fruity as aroma suggested. The hops sit over a pleasant backbone of biscuity malt giving some gentle sweetness. It’s hop driven.
