Description
Moonshine Brewery has been established for over 20 years in the Cambridge area. In that time we have won numerous national and regional awards. Our beers are characterised by their clean, fresh taste which is thanks in no small part to the natural spring water that is used to make them.

Officially started brewing as Cambridge Moonshine Brewery in May 2004 using a 2½BBL self-built plant in the owners garage in Cambridge. The brewery moved to the current location during Summer 2008 at the same time upgrading to a 5BBL plant and changing its name to Moonshine Brewery.

Bottle shared in London. Thanks to Krazy Ken. Pours clear amber-gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some green pepper, dry bread, grains, toasted sugars. Medium sweet flavor, some elderflower, toffee, rich malts, toasted sugars. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more toasted malts, ripe fruits, green pepper. Quite novel stuff. Very drinkable.
