Bottle at 330ml. Hazy orange color, huge white head. Mango, green apple in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Lots of green apple in the flavor. Alcoholic aftertaste. White wineish.

2012 Vintage. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2014. Courtesy of & thx! to Kraddel. Reddish, faintly dark brown, little head. Smells of herbs, overripe fruits, herbal, leaves, lots of liquorish. Taste is sweet liquorish, herbal, leaves, overripe berries, not getting any barrel here. Bit thinner body. Pretty weak overall with a very hefty price tag. Meh.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, floaty-laden golden coloured hue with a short and off-white foamy head. Sweet and juicy malty aroma with fruity notes and a tinge of baking yeast. Sweet flavour, full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Bready malty taste with fruity notes; sweet and quite alcoholic finish. Has some qualities of a pale Barley Wine. Not my kind of beer. 31.VIII.13

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A good Belgian brew.

33 cl. bottle split / sampled @ Eet & Bierlokaal De Molen during RBESG 2013. Pours a dark brown, big tanned head. Nose carries faint iron, caramel, malts, cacao, sweet yeast. Taste is sweet caramel, brown sugar, sweet BE yeast, coffee, light roast. Slightly creamy body, really surprised by this one. Easily exceeded my expectations.
