Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 26/1/2016. Golden in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Sharp, lemon fruits, biscuity malts, lots of grassy hops and a dry finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 26/1/2016. Near black with a hint of red and decent, beige, head. Sweetish dark fruits, a touch of chocolate, black coffee and a dryish finish. A good dark beer.

50cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A pale amber pour with no head but some light carbonation; musty honey aroma; sweet grainy body; and a sweet oaty finish with a touch of citrus. Disappointing.

Keg at Cloistered. It pours lightly hazy amber with an orange hue and thick white head. The nose is fresh, bitter - sweet, orange muffin, tangerine, passion fruit, mango and some skunky hop action. The taste is bitter orange, kumquat, slight sweetness, marmalade, pink grapefruit, earth, orange muffin and peppery spice with a dry, citrusy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Aroma is pretty juicy. Decent gear.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Loch Ness Light Ness ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

Bottle shared at the Scopey 5K tasting. Cheers! Pours clear, golden-brown with a creamy head. Very tasty, with notes notes of bready malts and toasted toffee, along with accents of coffee. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. More pleasant toffee and coffee in the finish. Very nice.
