Bottle... (clear glass bottle... hmm...) Pour is a light gold (although you could have guessed as much through the window clear glass) with a little bit of a head and aromas of (SURPRISE!) skunky hops and corn. Flavor is light and unimpeded by direction or anything assertive. A bit of corn juice that may or may not be fermented with a little bit of skunky hops is about all that is ticking here...

Bottle at Twisted Kilt in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Pours a clear golden with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is a wheat grass and corn malt. Decent spotty lacing along the glass. The taste is a corn malt with a crisp finish. A decent pale lager from Carib.

bottle at cafe globen , cph. clear light yellow, small head that starts big and thick, butdisappears fast. very faint aroma, faint bitterhops. sweet slightly corny flavor. very sweet. also some bitterhops. rather unbalanced.

BB 02/09. Bottle. Pours pale piss yellow with a off white bubbly head. Nose is sweet of malts and citrus. Alcohol, corn and salt-water. Watery & thin.

A deep dark stout with a super thick moka head. A Nestlé chocolate aroma, with vanilla notes. In mouth, a sweet moka chocolate, with vanilla fudge, sweet, cloying and cheap. LCBO. Tasted Nov. 2008

The point? LIke it’s a new "country"? Anyway the bottle is from Vintage Cellar. The ABV suggests a "family" beer. Something for the little ones. Brassy gold color with a very emphemeral head. Aroma of lime. It is fizzy like ginger ale, but there is also a decent lime flavor with some ginger bite. Talk about the ultimate session beer. I’m a sometime beer snob, but this is an interesting and not unpleasant surprise. It’s sweet, but not sticky. Crazy stuff.

Bottle pours out a gold topped with a small head. Aroma of skunkyness (is that even a word??) Tast of fake beer/corn maybe a little sweet grass. Not doing it for me.

Thanks to my gf’s dad who recently brought this one back from his trip. pours light golden with white head. Aroma has plenty of sweet corn and malts as well as grains. Taste is very similar to the aroma. Overall mouthfeel is sweet, refreshing and way above many of other pale lagers. No wonder TnT is not exporting this one. I drank plenty of it in Trinidad and I remember enjoying it a lot more than Carib. Would probably gain a few more points had I reviewed the beer with anice plate of curry goat and roti.

Good old pale lager, eh? Pours the expected pale gold with 30 second white head. The aroma is sweet with sugary malts, white rice, mild earthy and floral hops. The taste greets you with mild floral, spicy and earthy hops along with sweet sweet malts. Quickly the hops show signs of tepid bitterness slightly outshining the malt sweetness for a moment or two. Then the pale malt sweetness is ratcheted up a few notches higher and rides a slippery nearly sickly sweetness into the finish. A flagship brand beer, ouch!!!
