Cask - Lightly phenolic, soured apples and sweet oak rum. Cloudy orange with no head. Phenols and tart apples with some oak and harsh rum. Better dark rum would have made a big difference.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickerooney Grune, 29/03/14. Murky orange with thin off white spotting and edgework. Nose is rich apple pulp, light smoke, tangy apple, appple core. Taste comprises tangy apple, orchard wood, light smoke, sweet note, hint of pear. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry sweet finale. Ok.

Draught @ Bree Louise. Fairly sour, thin and astringent with a noticeable white wine influence. Quite dry with some tart apples, but just not hitting the right notes for me.

Tap at The Cock Tavern. Poured a cloudy medium amber with no head and no life at all. The aroma is big apple mousse. The flavour is medium sweet moderate sour with a weak acid apple slightly watery palate. Light bodied with flat carbonation.
