Brasserie des Vignes

Microbrewery in Graulhet, Occitanie, France 🇫🇷

Established in 2005

Contact
Graulhet, 81300, France
Description
Long-time beer enthusiast, Stéphane Dumeynieu, a former teacher, has always worked hard for his favorite drink. The range of beers respects the "Nature & Progress" specifications. It is located in Graulhet, in the Tarn. Inventive, Stéphane Dumeynieu, does not hesitate to think outside the box, multiplying new aromatizations, or even working beers with very long guards, like the bubble of the vines.

Created in 2005, the brewery initially moved to Montans in a winemaker's cellar. This first installation makes it possible to "understand" the name of the Brasserie des Vignes. On Easter Day 2005, the brewery produced its first beer called "Bulles de Vignes", followed quickly by La Clandestine.

Pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is bit smoked, taste is bit sharp, almost sour, trough the bitter dryness of the malts. Good for the abv, yet ok in general.

Pours dark brown, small white head. Smell is red fruit. Taste is sharp, raspberries, bit bitter, full, dark malts. Full, bit metallic perhaps, as well as a strong fruitsourness in the back. All together though, a really nice beer !

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Murky brown with no head. Nose is thin cheap roasted coffee, thin gounds. Taste is cheap coffee, grounds, herbal, low coffee sourness,... Thin, herbal, coffee ground. Not very good on its own but decent for the ABV I suppose.

Thank you for sharing Sebletitje & tderoeck! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Murky brown amber with no head. Nose is murky sweetish chestnut, sugar, basic malts, mocha. Taste is sourish, low vinegar, dash nail polish, oak, zest, flat red wine & red berries. Near flat, vinegar, oak, spoiled zest. Okay I thought that this was a decent Oud Bruin, nothing overly impressive but apparently this is a Weizen Bock. I also took these guys Abbey Dubbel with fruit for a fruit sour so there is that.

Sampled draft @ Vini Birre Ribelli 2016. Dark brown, tanned head; Nose is low vinous grapes, mocha, nail polish, acidic glue. Taste is weird chemical nail polish vinegar, acidic, puzzling, leaves & vinegar. Bit too crude & harsh but not bad as vinegar heavy USA sour. Body is acid, vinegar, almost nail polish burn.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16 shared with 77ship and Tderoeck.

Bottle sample @ Vini Birre Ribelli ’16.

Draft sample @ Vine Birre Ribelli ’16.
