Pours golden with a large fizzy white head. Aroma was corn and maybe a bit of malt. Body is rather fizzy. Flavor is muted, but some malt, and hops. It’s just another macro. There are much better Japanese macros out there.

Pours a clear golden orange with a large fizzy white head. Aroma is yeast and corn and nothing. Dominated by the nothing. Body is thin and bubbly. Tastes like corn, rice, and maybe the smallest amount of malt. Finishes with a light bitterness...maybe from some hops. No thanks.

Poured deep ruby/brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is roasted malts, whiskey, caramel, and chocolate. Body is a little thin for my tastes. Deeply roasted flavor. Sweet, coffee, bitter sweet chocolate, and a bit of alcohol though the 8% is pretty well hidden. the whiskey is noticeable in the finish along with a nice bitter end. I’m impressed, and would drink this again.

Poures a crystal clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma is malt, sweet fruitines, a bit sour, and the smallest hint of hops. Body is watery and thin. Flavor is just another mass produced lager. Malt, and a bit sweet. Thats about it. I’d take this over there regular swill, but its nothing to get excited about.

A dark brown beer with a thick compact moka head. Lightly sweet chocolate aroma, faint, and dissapointing. In mouth, a rather thin schwarzbeer with dryish malt, metallic notes, not much more to say. 330 mL can from Japn, 1 year old. BB 07-2006.

Canned. Dark brown, very lively head. Aroma of syrupy roasty malt and rice. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Rather mild with light notes of licorice. Some interesting flavours, but has a general industrial boldness that takes the edge of it.

Can.
Clear deep golden color, no head. Sweet malty and grainy nose. Watery, cardboardish, very thin (especially for 5% beer). Some sour notes in the finish. Very plain and watery. Much worse than eg. Asahi Super Dry.

Canned. Pale golden colour, no head. Aroma is quite non-existant, some slight malts and rice. Flavour is not much either, slightly hoppy. Easy to drink, but I almost drink water rather than this if I am thirsty. Alcohol also shows up a bit, as there’s not much else to cover it...

Bottle. When I am having sushi, this is my beer. Not that its the perfect pair, just usually my favorite on offer. Slightly bitter for a Pale Lager macrobrew, certainly dry as name implies.
