Can. Dark body with light brown head. Sweet, light roasted malty flavour. Some bitterness, short aftertaste and not very complex. Easy drinkable.

Bottle. Golden pale body with short white head. Some malt flavour and little bitterness. A dry lager with short aftertaste. Quite ordinary, but definitively drinkable.

Tested all of the Asahi yeast-series beers the same evening, thanks to Kjetil at NØ. The most interesting aspect with these four beers experiment is the fact that they are all made identical. The only difference is the type of yeast. The beer itself is a commercial lager and not very interesting itself. You have to dive deep inside the glass (and yourself) to search for greater variations. All of them are golden pale with a small head. This one is brewed with ale yeast ant therefore the one I was expecting most from. But I have to say I was disappointed. Little aroma, neutral bitterness, almost the same as 111. The main difference here is actually lower carbonation. A fun experience, but I really believe this would be much funnier with more characteristic beers.

This one might be my favourite. 787 is the one with most aroma and it’s possible to sense the malt and hops. Maybe also marginal sweeter than the others.

Compared to 111 this one has a slightly more malt sweetness and a bit more reckonable bitterness. Still a thin weak body.

This one is the least interesting beer with almost no malt flavour and very little hops. You may sense some bitterness.
