Cask, gravity at Olde England, Northampton, Saturday 7th June 2014 with Bob & Bill Light gold with a bubbly white rim. Quite a dry finish, the tettnang hops and lager malt producing a pretty decent beer. Fine. A4 A3 T4 P2 Ov8 2.1

Bottle 500ml (AbM, BB 03/2014)
Clear copper-amber color, small beige head. Aroma is grassy with harsh old, unfresh aroma. Light-bodied. Slightly sweet caramel, earthy English hops. Flavor is clean and fresh although aroma is not, maybe should have again from keg or cask. Quite traditional English "strong" bitter.

Bottled 500ml (AbM)
Amber color, small steady white head, some lace. Aroma has toasted sugar/crystal malt. Light to medium bodied. Front has some caramalt, then nice spicey hoppyness in the flavor. Somewhat bitter-sweet and such perhaps closer to red/amber ale than bitter. Flavoursome.
