Refrigerated 12 oz can, best by July 22, 2022 clear golden with medium white head. Aroma is nice floral hops, medium body, medium/well carbonated, and little lacing. Taste is light malt and bice floral hops.

Can. Clear golden pour with a smallish white head. The aroma is straw and some grass. The taste is corn, thyme, minerals and grass in a cracker malt base. Also, I get a metallic element in the taste. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes short and dry with a bit of straw spice. Overall: OK easy drinking pils but not particularly distinguished. .

Bomber. Aroma has notes of bourbon, dark bread, vanilla, syrup, licorice. Pours very dark brown with a thin beige head that falls into a ring quickly. Taste is lightly sweet and moderately bitter with flavors like the aroma. Tastes mostly like a straight impy stout with the adjuncts mostly in the background.

Bomber, 5/21/22. Dark brown, thin frothy brown head, fair retention. Aroma of cherry, cocoa, roast, cola, floral notes. Taste is roast, chocolate, sunflower, floral notes, leather. A bit chewy, booze well hidden. Tad bit thin for the style. Lingering bitterness. Very nice.

On tap at BitterCreek Boise. Dark brown near black pour with a ring of fine tan bubbles Big bitter sharp roast character ash and dark roast with a deep piney hop bite. Not particularly heavy or full bodied. Fresh and a little “hot” maybe.

Can from Smokes n Suds. Deep brown pour with a large tan head. Mild aroma of piney hops and roasted malt. Tastes lightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Citrus, cocoa, pine, and toasted malts. A gentler entry into CDA territory.

On draft at Majestic Heliskiing Alaska, after a big day in the mountains. Pours clear copper with an off white head. Grassy aroma. Flavors are bitter pine and citrus. Quite refreshing.

Bottle from Mid Columbia. Very dark brown, near black pour with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet and roasty, fairly mild. Tastes mostly of roasted malt, a little cocoa, and the floral earthy sweetness from the birch syrup or honey. Unfortunately the adjuncts come as a distraction to an otherwise non-descript stout. Just OK.
