Poured from the tap. Very hazy blonde with small white head. Wit, hint of citrus, mild spice, safe and boring, but decently done.

A hazed yellow ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett and mango, light lactic notes, OK. In mouth, a sweet tart mix of mango and lemon, a bit thin, OK. On tap at Festibiere de Laval 2022.

Belles notes de pain frais, pain toasté avec houblons herbacés en guise d’olfactif. Liquide doré et limpide qui développe une effervescence volcanique. Mousse blanche, effervescente et rocailleuse qui tient bien malgré tout. En bouche, c’est pétillant, frais et assez bien équilibré. C’est bien malté, céréalier légèrement sucré avec un côté herbacé doux et un aspect végétal qui, ma foi, s’intègre bien dans l’ensemble. L’amertume est somme toute moyennement faible et l’équilibre est plutôt axé du côté malté sucré. La corpulence est moyenne et son effervescence en deçà de la norme; ce qui contribue à la distinguer de ses consœurs du même acabit et à y rehausser les saveurs. Bottle, backlog April 2014. Clear reddish body under a small tan head. Aroma has caramel malt, spices, dry fruit like prunes and raisins. Taste is sweet with lots of malt, caramel, dry fruit, spices, low bitterness and some alcohol. Strong body and sweet aftertaste. Nice and tasty but ends up a bit too sticky sweet for my likings.

Bottle: Poured a deep burgundy/copper color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt notes with some residual candi sugar notes and light spices notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt notes and candi sugar notes with some dry raisins notes and light spices. Body is about average with godo cabronbation. Solid rendition of a Dubbel with a nice mix of complexity of flavors and drinkability.

Taste is also a mix of caramelized malt with some dry raisins notes with some spices and residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation with some very faint warming alcohol notes. Well brewed Belgian style ale.

Taste is a mix of light cereal notes with some residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable pilsner but a bit too sweet for my taste.
