Draft @ Delirium. Dommage.

Draft @ Hoppy Loft. Description de bière Belgo-Auvergnato-Québecois - double Abbaye Rouge IPA.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft during Zwanze Day shenanigans. Black with little tanned head. Smells of cuberdon’s thick candy & liquorish candy, prunes, blueberries, roasted malts. Not really picking up on maple but I think what makes me think of cuberdon’s might be maple, ditto for taste. Tastes of cuberdon’s, maybe I can pick up some maple as well, light roast, blueberries, thick dark berry jam, slight herbs, light roast, warming. Thick & malty. Really good, this was made by Fleurac, really, wow. Big surprise. (Thx! for sharing people!)

Tap at Hoppy Loft. Huge, interesting nose of maple syrup, coffee, chocolate, roasted malts, smoke, and wood. Pitch black with lace. Sweet, smoky flavor, maple syrup and chocolate, coffee, berries. Big maple. Full and creamy body. Creamy. Great.

14/IX/13 - on tap @ Hoppy Loft (Delirium café, Brussels) - BB: n/a (2013-852) Thanks to KyotoLefty for sharing the beer!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige to brown head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: chocolate, mocha, sugary, dried fruits, cocoa powder, alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: mocha and coffee, dark chocolate, alcohol, little sweet, molasses (possibly the maple syrup?). Aftertaste: bitter, bit sour, coffee, cocoa powder, dry, little hoppy, spices, liquorish. A double? A red IPA? Nah, I'd say stout. :p

Keg at La Fine Mousse, 10th September 2013, under alias, Triple Brune IPA. Took about 10 minutes to pour this, so lively, in the glass was a murky overly foamy liquid, looked like a fizzy snakebite and black. The aroma was ok, some liquorice, a little hop. Taste was liquorice, malt, yeast. The bar man gave this free, due to the wait, not sure if it was right. Could not finish

33 bottle @ PBF VIII, BBE 11/2013
Aroma has perfume-like yeasty notes. Also some fruits, flour and apricot. Flavour is sweet with fruity notes, yeast, apricot and some herbal notes. APA with some fruits, I guess.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, some berries and mild things of life to it. Flavour is fruits, honey, some herbs and wooden notes. Balanced thing still.
