Description
We are an independent craft brewer specialised in brewing lager. Born in London in 1995, we have since moved to Abbots Bromley in rural Staffordshire. Relocating has allowed us to use a better quality of water direct from our very own private source. The move also provided us with the space we need to recycle all our waste water on site via a natural reed bed system. All the beers we brew are naturally carbonated, unpasteurised and vegan friendly. Our brewing process blends the use of modern technology and sophisticated equipment with the care and dedication of our experienced team of "hands on" brewers to ensure all our beers are well balanced and consistent in quality.

330 ml. bottle. Rich, lightly roasted malt aroma. Light amber color with a beige/tan head. A bit thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. Bready malt with some spicey hop. Finishes a bit dry.

Bottle from Waitrose, Thame, Oxon, 27-07-07 Dark golden in colour with nice crispy, fresh, malty, hoppy taste tasted really quite nice and came out as second best of the night.

330ml bottle from Waitrose - labelled "Freedom Organic Beer" and "Brewed and bottled in the EU". Typical lager appearance; light straw with a billowing white head that fell back very quickly; deep fresh aroma of grassy hops on openning; refreshing hop flavours, but lacking finish.

An orange beer with no head - served to the brim of the glass, typically British style, but I’d like a bit of head on my pilsener. The aroma is sweet malty with a fresh citrusy hop note as well as light notes of caramel. The flavor is crisply malty with a distinct hop character, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Draught@brew pub. Bünker is a brewpub, which is really "underground", located in Covent Garden, near Soho. This beer is pale golden color, small white head. Crisp lemon soda nose. Sweetish malty base, grassy hops. Classic German pils -style is what they have tried to do here. Unoffensive and oridinary.

Draught@brew pub as "Freedom organic lager". Pale yellow color, small white head. Served very cold and getting much out of nose is difficult; just faint sweetish malts. Crisp, mostly sweetish malty - not much hoppy. Quite similar to commercial bulk lagers - no big faults, but mostly tasteless.

Clear yellow color, short head. Tastes quite the same as the Bunker Bock, but without the sharp alcoholic touch.

Unpasteurized surprisingly flavourful and complex for being a British lager. Rathger dry, firm body, good bite in the bitterness.

Clean, well-balanced. Good dose of hops and a long finish. This is English?
