Bottle, thanks to MoritzF! Nice colour, medium-sized head. Malty and slightly sweet, a bit watery, flavours reminiscent of coffee and bitter chocolate. Malty finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a beige head. Sweetish aroma of dried fruit and roasted malt. Quite full in body with a shipload of sweetish, roasted malt and some fruity notes - even raisins. The finish is very subdued. A very delicious Bock. 230407

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and lesser notes of alcohol and nuts. The flavor is sweet malty with powerful notes of caramel and medium notes of nuts, leading to a dry bitter and nutty end.

(bottle; as Kloster-Export Dunkel, brewed by Tucher under supervision of the Scheyern monastery, 5.4%) Clear, mahogany colour with a medium-size, lacy off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet, toast-malty aroma with caramel and cacao/chocolate. Medium-sweet, light bitter flavour, medium carbonation. Malty, toasty taste, slightly bready with a touch of caramel and cacao; medium-dry, malt-accented finish with light hoppy notes.

Sweet, grainy, slightly perfumed and fruity (pears) nose with a whiff of hops in the background. Moderately sweet flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Malt-accented taste, slightly grainy, minimal herbal notes; medium-sweet, malt-accented, subtle fruity finish.

Draught Very fine & dense brown head over copper-amber, clear beer. Malt, maltbread, bit of nuts or chestnuts aromas. Sweet, very malty, bit worts-like but not green. Finish is grassy, and very refreshing. Light beer, slight slickness. Nice, if unspectacular Dunkel.

This is really an "Ur"-Weizen, meaning amber. Draught Hazy orange beer with amberish-green shine; fine white head leaving lace. Strawberry nose, yeast esters, and slightly spicey, if not specific cloves. Again this strawberry flavour, retronasal typically "goose", or like bamboo shoots. Warming up, it gets Brett-like, with a bit of sulphur. Medium bodied at best, wheat slickness. An untypical but not unnice Weizen. Bit it is a bit weird.
