50cl bottle: Pours hazy yellow with a large white head & lacings. Nose is of wheat & grain. Hints of banana & orange. A bit sweet but pleasant & well balanced!

500ml bottle from Utobeer. Beautiful ruby colour with thick beige head. Good syrupy malty aroma. I liked this, ok not enormously complex, but I like the up front straight forwardness of the syrupy malts, it looks fantastic. Yes it has some lager yeast/malt flavour, but as the bottle goes down, it’s great. Very drinkable. Some syrupy sweet malt on swallow.

500ml bottle from Utobeer. Clear gold, thin off white head. Bit of puke malt, but overall a rounded deep aroma with some lemon. Fullish in mouth and an ok Helles, some butter towards the finish and some hoppiness. OK, but nothing remarkable.

My bottle is brewed by Tucher. Looks good in the glass, fine foam. Starts very mild, almost vapid. Very drinkable, but could be a little bit drier. An average dunkel!

Scheyern Kloster-Gold Hell - brewed by Tucher. The bottle looks simple, but good. The beer in the glass too. Very zippy. Smells sweet, tastes the same. Finish a little bit fruity. Good beer!

Bottle. Toffee malt, banana and clove aroma - very nice. Cloudy orange brown color with nice big head. Musty wheat malt flavor with light ripe banana and grassy hops finish. Flavor blander than the aroma would have had me believe.

Bottle. Light unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (150208)

Bottle. Orange, banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy yellow-amber color with large long lasting head. Clove dominates but also with banana, orange peel, and wheat malt flavor - starts strong but seemed to have less flavor as I drank more. Minimal sweetness. Moderate carbonation. Nice but flavor a bit light.

Bottle, 7.4%. Very sweet aroma, brown sugar and dark malts. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Small bubbly head. The flavour is quite malty, slightly roasted and creamy. Good, but slightly watery compared to the really good Doppelbocks.
