Description
Burton Bridge Brewery is a traditional style brewery that produces a wide range of beers.
We have stillaging and cooling equipment, will organise a selection of beers for you to approve and set it all up
For something a little different ask if we have our vintage Morris dray available. It has been on display at festivals and was used as a hearse for a funeral.
Mid-2024 the ownership of the Burton Bridge brewery has changed hands in a merger which also ensures the future of the town’s Heritage brewery.
The deal sees Burton Bridge come under the umbrella of leisure company Planning Solutions, which previously ran the National Brewery Centre in Burton, prior to Molson Coors’ decision to close it.

[Cask at the Three Guineas, Reading] Ruby-brown, large beige head & a slight fizz. Sour, woody aroma. Earthy taste with hints of smoke, coffee and blackberry. Very bitter for the style, which rather ruins the underlying flavours.

Cask: Deep amber coloured with ruby sparks, creamy stable beige head; dryish fruity nose with toasted malt and a tinge of smoke; smooth, light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied; slightly vinous - and very faint sourish - bitter-sweet finish with a distinctive fruitiness. Good example.....

Bottle from Mr Lawrence Wine Merchants, Brockley. Dark brown pour with no head. Licorice, some chocolate and cinammon aromas. Flavours of caramel, some bitterness, chocolate malts, raisins. Very flat. I found this started off dull and lifeless but soon grew on me. ’Tis a slow grower.
