33cl bottle from Westholme Stores, Goring. Jack has really excelled himself this time - he seems to have picked up cases of this, and Fin’s review is spot on. This is a great first brew from a new brewery. It’s floral and fragrant, good looking, and hoppy without being over-the-top. I’ll be back for more.

Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon consumed at home, Tuesday 16th October 2012 I poured some of the sediment into this so it had a light haze, though it didn’t detract from it looking a nice looking orangey/gold with an off-white head. A little scented rose on the nose, actually it is a bit like very fragrant turkish delight with a hoppiness only really in the background. In the mouth this is quite floral but the bitterness starts to slice through, there is a slightly thick and sweetish mouthfeel but this soon subsides and a tangy citrussy and floweryness comes through, moves from initially sweet to dry quite quickly. There is also a little middle eastern exotic spiciness coming from somewhere, makes me think of Marrakesh, but in a good way and not of that ropey Casablanca lager. This is certainly big on the hoppy front but it has a lot more to offer and I like the floral, spiciness, and hops. Glad that I picked up three of these. Great first beer, Loz really likes this as well. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
