On tap @ Proeflokaal Arendsnest. Deep amber body under a nice, lacing tan head. Aroma has malt, toffee and toast. Taste is sweet, a bit sharp, burnt caramel, toast and decent bitterness.

Tap at Bar Oorlam. Cloudy golden, lacing offwhite head. Bright tropical aroma, medium light dry body, pineapple, passion fruit, mango. Fruit rind zestiness, yuzu finish. Fresh.

Can opens with a loud hiss. Pours a jet black body and a big creamy mocha coloured head with long retention. Aroma's of boozy alcohol, fruity sourness, roasted malts. Retronasal it's alcohol, sourness, strong booze. Flavour is moderate sour with a hint of sweet and some roast. Alcohol feel isn't even very strong, but warming nonetheless. Medium bodied. Ashy finish. Looks better than it tastes.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a tumbler. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, taal creamy white to off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma wheat, lemon, yeast, floral hops. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter and some acidity, wheat, lemon, yeast. medium body, watery to oily texture, lively carbonation, sweetbitter and slightly acidic aftertaste, husky notes, bit more bitterness in the finish, prickly mouthfeel, okay.

Bottle at home. Pours opaque golden with a white head. Nose is floral and earthy, coffee and hops show. Somewhat perfumey, fruity. Taste is similar, earthy, spicy, with a touch of oxidization. Light bodied, medium dry, the carbonization is soft. The finish is slightly oxidized/old hops. Not too bad all in all.

Bottle at home. Nose is caramel, candi sugar, light phenols. Taste is sweetish, candi also shows, esters as well, not much rye (or grains en bloc for that matter). Closes with a sweetish, empty finish, it’s got a light body, definitely drinks below the ABV, the carbonation is way over the top. Messy.
