Taster at the Liquor Express. Pours dark brown, with a small, beige head. The nose is cloves, toffee, rye toast, and apple. Sweet and estery, with a mild, abrasive bitterness. Light, sticky, and slick. Fair.

Single from Appalachian, $5.50, ugh... Clear Solo cup at home. Clean water still doesn't exist here. Slight bottle bomb, big heady soda pour. Settles out to a hazy plum sort of thing. Smell is sour orange & berry juice box, very acidic & chemmy; steel. Taste is a juice box blend, like a POG, but with cherry instead of guava. Astringent lime peel, hibiscus, sour Warhead candy, mild breakfast cereal in place of wheat, unintentional vanillan, strong acid, more sour than tart, hard chem burn. Bigger sips get me the cherry with a slight beer-y or earthy grain on the finish. My teeth wince. I don't hate it. Hyper carbonated, semi-sweet yet drying, clenching sourness, slight wine cooler bite. Numbing. Not what I wanted but it grew on me.

I don't ever know how to rate a polotmavy but I guess it tastes like a polotmavy. Clear maroon pour with decent head and lacing. Some tin, metallic vibe. Some caramel. Pretty decent. Clean finish. Tap at Snappy.

A little caramel, not super crisp--too much sweetness. Golden pour with decent head. Tap at Snally.

Draft at Snallygaster 2024. Poured a clear amber color with a small, very slightly tannish head. Aroma was some light sweet malt, toasted notes, clean, pleasant light grass. Flavor was similar, light grass, some sweet malts. Tasty stuff.
