16 oz can purchased at Pinocchio?s Beer Garden in Media, Pennsylvania. The pour is a very hazy copper golden with a one inch off white head. The aroma is pine and bitter grapefruit citrus peel. Some cereal grain in the nose as well. The taste is caramel, cereal grain up front followed by the the pine and finishes with the sharp bitter grapefruit peel. The palate is medium bodied, low carbonation level and unfiltered mouth feel. Slightly sweet finish which was a bit disjointed. There was no date information on the can, and I expect this was a bit on the old side. Overall, decent IPA.

Bottle poured into a shaker. From notes. Corn and grains with a hint of clove and a little apple. Meh, not bad but not too special either.

Bottle. Pours a clear honey gold color. Thin head dissapates quickly leaving no trace of lacing. Aroma is mainly sweet with some spice & a touch of funk. Taste found a strange, almost syrupy sweetness, corn, and some funky spice. Light bodied with low carbonation. Brewed by Minhas now.

Can. Pours a murky reddish brown with a thin head and aromas of figgy brown sugar with a little leaf litter and very faint resin. First sip reveals a thick and sugary beer with a decent hop bitterness, but not a lot of direction in either. Brown sugar, dates and figs drive the malt, while the hops profile plays second fiddle with a bit of non-descript bitterness. Stick and sweet, but I am left wanting a bit more direction.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a slightly hazy golden amber color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was butter, a bit of wheat and a bit of citrus. The flavor was butter, bitterness, an bit of citrus and a touch of bread. Long bitter butter and citrus finish. Medium body. Fairly awful.

Rich deep copper coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, tons of fruit sweetness, honey, resinous hops, pine and a good malt backbone. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong malty flavour with plenty of alcohol, hops, honey and some light fruit notes - even on the finish. Aftertaste shows a very nice rich malt flavour with a good hint of alcohol, but not overwhelming and a rather syrupy and resinous hop finish. Overall, a nice beer with plenty of flavour, some good hop kicks and a nice malt backbone throughout. I sampled this 16 ounce can purchased from Merchant’s in Dearborn, Michigan on 02-August-2013 for US$2.99 sampled a day later at home in Woodhaven, Michigan on 03-August-2013.

Black pour that throws up a generous tan head. Aroma of roast malt chocolate, coffee. The flavor is rich and smooth, not overly bitter. Follows the aroma. Nice and smooth.

Slightly cloudy bronze and light copper coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a nice, thick, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, peaches, light hops, grapefruit, pine and a bit of toffee. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hoppy notes up front with a thick body and a great balance of malt. Aftertaste shows some good hop characteristics with pleasant assertive alcohol and floral notes and a bit of a kick of pine and grapefruit with plentiful sugars. Overall,a very nice APA with the depth and body of a much higher abv beer than this one - great all the way around, especially from a can. I sampled this 16ounce pint sized can purchased earlier today from Merchant;s in Dearborn, Michigan for US$2.69 sampled today, 02-August-2013 in Grosse Ile, Michigan.

Total Wine, Fairfax 4-pak: Pours golden color with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops, some bready malts. Although this is pretty light, the body is kind of on the heavier side of blonde ales. Hoppy bitterness is prevalent throughout. Nice, but simple hoppy blonde.

Total Wine, Fairfax 4-pak: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is citrus hops. Light malt backbone. Not really all that bitter or hoppy in the taste. Not a remarkable example of the style, but drinkable.
