Growing up in the Sussex countryside, surrounded by farmland, the boys gained a great respect for the outdoors, good beer and the British country pub.
All of these things, alongside a growing interest in home-brewing, inspired the three of them to start Three Acre Brewery in the autumn of 2018.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a golden yellow with minimal white head. Just some vague floral hops in the aroma. In the mouth there’s an initial burst of sweetness before it very quickly becomes somewhat bitter. Flavour has toffee, banana, citrus and lemon plus trraces of toast, cheesecake and lucozade. Finish is sweet and zesty. Nice enough but a bit of a mess.
