(bottle) Hazy dark brown colour with a big fluffy tanned head, slowly lacing. Strong clove phenols with yeasts, but a quite light fruity (banana) esters. Light sweet malty flavour, medium body. Slight sweet toasted wheatmalty taste with dense fruity tones but again rather strong clovy spice, also a faint touch of caramel. Smooth but slim & spicy finish. A bit unbalanced but quite drinkable Dunkelweizen.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a small, dense head. Has the weird, soft sweetness often found in non alcohols, but fortunately no metallic tang. Rather fresh and quenching with nice aroma hops. 270402

(Bottle 33 cl) Pretty, orangey brown with a nice, dense head. Spicey, caramelish, lightly smoked malt character with some sweetness. But there’s a weird lack of harmony and balance in here which combined with a less than pleasant aroma makes this a not so good offering. 220402

(Bottle 50 cl) Amber coloured (surprising for a Kristall) with a small head and a rather high carbonation. Very wheaty and fresh, soft without any real bitterness. Seems as if Lammsbräu cannot really make a bad beer. 170402

(bottle) Yellow colour with a bubbling foamy white medium head. Sweet malty aroma. Watery medium sweet malty taste with a dense fruity touch, dry but “unclean” sharp bitter tone in the weak finish.

(bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a medium sized diminishing foamy white head. Fruity and malty white bread aroma, slightly sour. Light to medium bodied, taste of spicy worty malts and yeasts and citrus fruits with a quite thin and short finish, slightly fruity and spicy. Decent Dinkel Weizen.
