Bottle. Golden colour, very unstable head. Almost clear. Strange bready aroma. Very sweet flavour, a little teaish. Bordering on ice tea. Harsh, bitter aftertaste. Not beer.

Ecological beer made from spelt (German "dinkel") and barley malts, which is highly unusual. The only beer made from spelt I’ve had, or heard of. 0.33l bottle. Largish white head, cloudy dark yellow body. Arona is fine and fruity with honey notes. Very reminiscent of weizen with clean estery notes, vaguely watery, and faint crispness in the finish. Drinkable, somewhat watery. Could do with more assertiveness. Faintly sour, without really being refreshing. Doubt I’ll ever drink this again.

Bottle. Wheat aroma. Cloudy dark golden colour, unstable white head. Watery flavour, but it does taste of wheat beer. A little citric, but not in a very nice way. OK for a low alcohol beer.

Bottle. Wheaty aroma. Hazy golden/orange colour, depending on the amount of yeast. Unstable white head. Nice wheat beer, a little spicy.

Bottle. Very malty, fresh sweet fruit aroma. Dark red/brown colour, unstable head. Malty flavour, a little sweet. Tastes toasted, but without being bitter. The flavour is mild, but still quite tasty.

Test vom 12.7.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,12,11,11,10,11 - 11,00

(Bottle 50 cl) Quite deep orange beer. One of the darker Hefeweissen. Lots of fruit and sourness. Almost a fat wheat-flavor. Nice. 041003

Bottle. Strong peach, banana, clove aroma. Orange tan color with small head and slight cloudiness. Sweet fruity flavor - orange mainly but with typical banana, clove and peach as well. An excellent Hefe - smooth with more complexity than most Hefeweizens.

An orange beer with a huge white head. Both the aroma and the flavor are sweet malty with primary notes of straw. The body is thin.
