Description

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white and semi crispy head. Orange to citrus fruity hops aroma. Flavour is hoppy and fruity with a mild breadish malt note beneath. Quite pleasant and nicely balanced. Light citric flavour mixed with a breadish malt into the finish. Nice solid and refreshing.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Porus with a light, small, off-white head and a hazy brown body. Aroma of prunes, clean caramel, granola, tons of grain, raisins, and oatmeal. Taste is about the same, very grainy and a bit caramel crusted. Somewhat full mouthfeel.

50cl bottle. Pours brownish dark with a light brownish head. Aroma is lightly smokey and caramel. Taste is filled with smokiness and malt, leaving a tingly feeling on the tongue and palate. Lightly hoppy, aftertaste is light, smokey and roasted. I was really impressed by the body of this beer. While I am not a huge fan of the strong rauch style, this beer had a lot of postive points to it.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Fine creamy head. Tastes not as strong as exspected, malty-yeasty, finish a little bit like wood. Very drinkable and good beer!

50cl swingtop - clear golden, fizzy beer, with a foamy, rapidly shrinking head that settles to a decent lace - aroma of grassy hops, floral notes, sweet malts, a strange vegetal quality, and a light mineral character - honey sweet at first, but an herbal/floral kick and medium hop bitterness creep in to balance that out pretty nicely - there is a bit of a chalky feel on the back end, and the hops don’t really bite like I want them to in a pils, but this is a decent beer.

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a frothy white head - tons of bubbles rise from the bottom as well, which makes for a nice look! Aroma of refreshing malt, citrus, yeast, wheat and some fresh cut grass. Medium-bodied; Very fruity citrus flavours roaming through this one with a bit of a floral essence and finishes with a clean malt - very nice. Aftertaste is crisp and refreshing, not much hops, but plenty of smooth malt. Overall, a nice and potent helles good for the summertime without doubt! I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 26-April-2008.
