Tap. Pours hazy golden with a small white head and good lacing on the glass. Aroma is funk, yeast, lemon, fruity. Flavor is the same, very lightly sweet and lightly tart. Quite dry after the initial taste; definitely a much drier beer than Anais. Finish is lightly orange zest bitter, maybe a touch of rye spiciness. Medium body, soft mouthfeel.

Aroma is fruity and phenolic with a light acidity and funk. Low background malt character present as well. Fruit is pineapple, citrus and pear. Phenolics are a light peppercorn, coriander and some floral spice. Faint lactic acidity and light barnyard funk. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a fairly thin white head that quickly recedes to the edges. No lacing and small legs. Flavor is similar to aroma but with a much higher tartness than the aroma suggests. Fairly fruity like the aroma but with more pineapple and citrus and less pear notes. The phenolics are there with a lot more floral notes, but the acidity does not allow them to assert themselves as much as in the aroma. Medium low vinous, white wine note mid palate and moderate bitterness. Finishes very dry. Only faint malt notes in the beginning. Mouth feel is medium bodied with medium to medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Nice crisp refreshing beer. Overall another winner from Sante Adairius; I must really sound like a homer by now. Clean acidity, nice bright fruit notes and balanced spice aged nicely in a wine barrel - hard to go wrong with that combo.

On draught at the brewery. Moderate (balanced) spice on the nose with lemon and cracker. Pours a hazy yellow-gold with full true white head of small bubbles that lingers and leaves great lacing. Strong spice and lemon continue in flavor with a chewy yeast and quick semi-dry finish. Sweet grain lingers long on he lips. Outstanding!

On draught at the brewery. Earth, forest floor and fruit marry well on the aroma. Pours a hazy orange wih white head of large bubbles leaving a dusting across the top. Puckering citrus blends with solid malt backbone for an easy drinking IPA. Moderate bitterness and semi-dry finish. Slightly thin mouthfeel overall.

Tap. Pours cloudy yellow gold with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is very faint, with notes of Brett, lemon, and wheat. Flavor is lightly sweet, medium lemony tart, fruity, semi dry tart finish. Not much funk present at all. Maybe the Brett needs more time to work its magic. Medium body.

Tap, Batch #3. Pours hazy golden amber with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is Brett, funky, bit of horse blanket, fruity, lemon. Flavor is lightly sweet, medium tart, only light funk, with a semi dry finish. Light-plus body. Very easy to drink.

Tap. Pours hazy golden amber with a small white head and nice lacing. Aroma is lemon, yeast, banana, spices. Flavor is the same, very hefeweizenlike, actually, lightly sweet with a light zesty astringence. Light body, fine bubbly carbonation. Good, but not great.

Aroma is rather fruity with lots of ripe berry notes, more raspberry than blueberry. Some light oak and tannic, vinous aromas as well. Faint darker malt character and some moderate red wine notes. Pours a very murky brown with purple and red hues on the edges. Thick purplish red head that recedes quickly to the edges. Quite a bit of yeast and particulate matter; this is definitely a goopy beer. Flavor has some sweet berry jam notes upfront with some lighter dark malt character. Mid palate you get some vinous notes and a moderate amount of red wine. In the finish is a bit of tart berry character, light bitterness and a touch of astringency. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. It finishes fairly dry for it's body and isn't sticky at all. Low, but present astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall an ugly beer but a pretty tasty one, especially if you like tart berries which I love. I really like the aroma and the flavor upfront, but the finishing note is a bit harsh as it lingers. There was almost an inch of sediment in this bottle. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
