On tap at Airbrau Munich Airport. Cloudy gold, thick off white head. Yep, esters lots of banana, quite a light weisse. Lemon and banana led. Refreshing and pretty bananaery nice. Almost like a banana daiquiri beer. Cool.

On tap at Airbrau Munich Airport. Hazy paleish gold with thick white head. OK, quite full lager with decent malts and a good hoppy bite. Really quite malty. Actually pretty good. Almost biscuit. Excellent.

50cl on tap at Airbräu, Munich Airport. Hazy orange with a lasting white head. Wheaty and fruity aroma with banana, yeast and hints of spices and citrus. Medium body with quite lively carbonation. Medium sweet with a light acidity. Decent hefeweizen.

Ich kann mich erinnern, als ich mit ein paar Kumpels vor der Braukunst live 2013 extra mit der S-Bahn zum Flughafen gefahren bin, um das dortige Bier zu kosten. Leider wurde nur diese eine Sorte angeboten. Es ist ein recht süffiges Bier mit einem angenehmen Malzkörper. Kann man ruhig mehr davon trinken.

On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow/pale golden coloured, small white head, big bubbles of carbonation, rather dusty nose. Light malty and very bitter grainy taste that leads to strong bitter finish and long-lasting bitter aftertaste. Bit one-dimensional but ok.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow/golden coloured, medium sized white head, lively carbonation, notes of hay in the nose. Moderate malty, grassy and hay with pretty dry bitter finish. Not so good as Kumulus but still easy going beer.

On tap at the brewpub. It’s great to start a day (8.35 a.m.) with pleasant and cheap airport beer after highly overpriced and not so good French brews. So, cloudy orange coloured, medium sized white head, fresh wheaty nose. Wheaty and strong banana taste with light spicy notes. Slightly too sweet finish but all in all nice weizen. Refreshing also.

Tap at Airbrau, Muchen Flughafen - 25/11/11. Hazy brown with a large off-white head. Malts dominate the nose. Toasty malt flavour with mild nutiness and herb. Smooth drinking, good feel.

Tap at Airbrau, Munchen Flughafen - 14/07/12. Pours hazy amber gold with a decent finger + of white head. On the nose - banana, wheat, citrus, grass. Tastes match the nose with a little hops also coming through. Lighter bodied than standard weizen as you’d expect but none the less refreshing on a hot day.

On tap at the airbrau bar, Munchen Flughafen - 29/04/12. Clouded orange with a very thick slightly off-white head. Banana, cloves and wheat on the nose. Tastes as nose with a little sweetness and honey in the mix. Medium bodied and a good creamy feel/finish. You can’t knock this at E2.40 a half litre!
