Description
The brewery (location) is closed, beer is being brewed in Alabama @ Oyster City Brewing.

It all began with a Christmas gift in 1994. Billy Pyatt, a notoriously hard guy to buy presents for, fell in love with the carboys, pots, hydrometers, grains, hops, chemistry, and physics involved in brewing. His brother, Scott, fell right in with him. Their love became an obsession that could only be resolved by going pro – not an easy thing to do in 1999!

We have tasting Rooms in Asheville, Morganton and Charlotte NC. Our kegs & cans are distributed in TN, NC, SC, GA and AL.

7.1/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 6 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
Location: Draft at the brewery, 1/1/15

Aroma: This one has a light citrus and tropical hop aroma
Appearance: It pours a cloudy gold-orange color, with a thick and creamy white head on it
Flavor: The flavor is very similar to the nose, but just with a little more oomph to it
Palate: The body is light, easy drinking, with a clean and smooth feel, and a soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This one is basically what I look for in the style. It is very easy drinking with a good, solid hop flavor. The aroma could pack a little more of a punch though. Maybe this isn't the most flavorful beer out there, but at under 5% it is a pretty nice session option.

Draft at RBWG grand tasting! I’m not generally a fan of gimmicky beers. The aroma had more peanut butter than jelly. The taste had more jelly than peanut butter. So there.
