The brewery is based on a farm in Great Hormead, East Hertfordshire. The focus is to brew modern styles, particularly highly hopped ales and fresh lagers.
The 1000L brewhouse allows for an ever-changing range of beers to be brewed. Each style will be pushed to its limits, with the evolution and development of new flavours.

Keg at Kerrera, Guildford. Aroma had berries [Editor: now confirmed to be cherry] and marmalade spice. Red tinged brown. Foamy off-white head. Rich and spicy. Berries [cherries] and citrus. Rye. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable warming Red IPA.

Appearance is yellowy golden, with a 2-3 finger white head. Aroma is hops, pine hints, peach, tropical fruit, citrusy orange. Taste is wheaty malt, bitter hops, tropical fruit juice, juicy candied fruit, orange, assertive bitterness, hoppy fruity finish. Fairly full mouthfeel.

Can at home picked up from BEER:Shop St Albans. A mostly clear pale yellow straw coloured pour with a frothy pure white head. Aroma is nice tangy tropicals, canned pineapple, peach, nelson, pithy citrus, pale grains. Flavour is composed crisp light grains, straw, mixed fruit salad, pineapple, mineral, dry grains, pineapple, Palate is super crisp, light, little thin, frothy carbonation. Drying finish.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 22. Hazed golden yellow appearance, large white head. Smooth, light and super dry. Has a sugary sweet feel. Not feelin it.

Solid Pale! Sessionable, great balance, hoppy, citrus. Note to self: try more of those Baron beers!
