Keg at Darft House, Tower Bridge. Interesting aroma - initial tar smoke. BUT sweet berris then come.throw. And a peppery edge. Darkest cola brown. Beige head is creamy but soon shrinks. Light bitter. Smokey. The pepper is there but always in the background as a reassuring presence. Coffee berries and stewed fruit in the mix. Medium bodied. Low fat creamy. Low key carb. Peppery finish. Really enjoyed this. It works.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is light and crisp. Thin malts, some creamy sweetness, some caramel. Tangy dried fruits. Smooth floral dry finish shows a pinch of spice. Clean but thin and a tad wishy washy. Perhaps more focus on the beer and less on the over florid descriptions thereof?

Keg @ Dead Crafty Beer Company, Liverpool. Cloudy amber with a small head. It has a stated tropical fruitiness and hides its strength well, although this becomes more evident in its aftertaste.

Tap at Beer Cellar Exeter, pours a hazy orange with some creamy, white head. Nose has some cranberry, LOTS of herbs, woodruff and sweet lavender. Flavor is sweet with some clove, banana, chamomile, lavender, some honey, actually a bit of cucumber. Finishes sweet, lightly herbal.
