Bottled@Euston Tap, London. Hazy very deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, citrus, mild raisiny notes as well as some alcohol and buttery notes. Flavour is toffee, citrus, mild spicy and alcoholic notes. Also a bunch of yeasty notes in it.

Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Grass and dandelion hops in the aroma. Medium sweet flavor, grassy hops, light dirt, earth, flower stems. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Grassy, long bitter finish, light toasty malts, some earth. Very decent.

Handpull at Craft Beer Co. Clear gold lasting white head. Really drinkable beer. Leafy hoppy in aroma and mouth and then good bitterness on finish. Like to see an amarillo galena bleand. I like it. Love the toastyness on the finish

Cask, handpump at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 06.12.11 Pours chestnut with a light beige head. This is nutty and drinks far easier than the abv would suggest it should, malty beer with hops showing this is reasonably straightforward but it is good stuff A7 A4 A7 P3 Ov13 3.4

Cask, handpump at The Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 03.12.11 in company of Tom. Pours almost bronze in colour, great clarity, some energetic bubbles on top don’t last long. Savagely hoppy in the mouth, in fact a bit in yer face for me and too much for Loz. fruity, tangy but very bitter. Despite my apparent criticisms I enjoyed it though started to tire of it after a short while. A7 A3 T8 P4 Ov16 3.8

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Dark brown with a decent tan head. Sweetish aroma of milk chocolates and truffles, with a hint of smoke. Flavour of bitter chocolate and black coffee, with a dry, charred finish. Very good.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 3/12/2011. Deep gold with a small, yet tight, head. Aroma of Belgian yeasts and citrus fruits, with a trace of vanilla. Flavours of spice, more fruit and vanilla leading to a gently bitter finish. A pleasant change.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 3/12/2011. Clear gold with a slight white head. Light, citrus hop aroma with a hint of pine and sweetish malts. Easy drinking, with hints of lemon and spice and a lengthy, dry finish. Good.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium fluffy white head on top. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, tropical fruit, bitter, sweet. A tasty drinkable heavyweight IPA from Arbor.

Cask at CP&K. It pours very dark brown, with a decent beige head. The nose is tangy dark dried fruit, chocolate, wood and leather. The taste is toasted malt, caramel, raisin, sultana, cherry, red grape, wood, leather, dryness, chocolate and varnish, with a smooth, somewhat sweet finish. Med body, soft carbonation and good balance. Very tasty and well done.
