Description
Our current kit can produce up to 20 brewer’s barrels, depending on the beer and how heavily hopped it is. We have 10 fermentation vessels, with the most recent additions being oversized to allow double brews of our more popular beers. Having started as a one-man operation, the business has slowly expanded to the current team of eight as demand, production, brew house and premises size have increased.

We put a premium on quality and consistency, which means monitoring the beer at every stage of the brewing process and beyond. Much of our equipment, i.e. our keg washing & filling machine and our bottling machine, were chosen with this in mind.

Cask at CP&K. It pours straw yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is citrus pith, resin, cheese and wood. The taste is oily green hop, pine, resin, touch of astringency, lemon, lime and citrus pith, with a dry finish. Thin to medium body and soft carbonation. Ok, but not Arbor’s best.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Pitch black. No real head. Its got some very decent roasted and juicy malts. Bit of carbonation. Some blackcurrant edge on the finish. Tasty. I will give you that. Grew on me. Dark choc. Pretty good. I liked it.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Cloudy orange gold colour thin off white head. Yes some German weissbier tendancies but still an English edge to it. Some esters some vanana some bubblegum but a fair hop whack on the end. Not great to be honest. Malt is a bit disappointing. Tastes of glue. And smells of petrol. I liked it to start with but at end of a half I was not that impressed

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Hunny Beer. Clear copper gold with lasting off white head. Honeyish aroma. Bit plain in mouth with hints of honey. Tasty enough in good nick. Its a relatively decent honey beer. With a fair bit of honey to be honest.

Cask handpull at Craft Beer Co. Gold clear lasting beige bubbly head. Full in mouth. A shed load of hop on this. The green bullet can just about handle it. Enough fruit to go along with the harsh bitterness. Bitter as hell on the finish. Harsh bitterness is just about kept in check by the tropical fruit. Outstanding beer.

Cask via handpump at the CASK Pub & Kitchen on 4th November 2011. Slightly hazy gold with thin, mostly vanishing head and initial lace. Rich hop and cheesiness in aroma. Light bodied liquid - grassy hop and notes of cabbage and chicory/endives furnish the palate with a rich hop blend. Dry finish, grassiness and delicate subtle grapefruit. Light mouthfeel.

Cask at CRAFT Beer Co, London on 5th November 2011. Slightly hazy amber with lacing off-white head. Hoppy, yeasty aroma then explosion of rich-and-intense grassy bitter hoppiness in-mouth. Intensely bitter, long-lasting finish and an engaging zingy texture. Exquisite.

Cask at CP&K. It pours cloudy amber, with pretty much no head. The nose is wheat, light spice, caramelized banana, brown bread and aromatics. The taste is wheat, banana, caramel, brown bread, light citrus, subtle spice and earth. Thin-medium body and no carbonation. A bit too thin and not up to the usual Arbor standard.
