Sampled from the tap at Bavarian Lodge. Pours a clear amber gold with a white head they dissipates to the edges. Aroma has rich smoke with a bit of sweet grains and bread supporting. Flavor starts with a nice smoke and bread with a bit of sweet grain and a thin finish.

On tap at Blind Tiger, pours a clear pale blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out herbaceous notes, grassy hops, and straw. Flavour is crisp, with herbaceous notes, sweet biscuity malt, and straw. Herbaceous and biscuity finish. Decent.

Pint can, 2/8/24. Clear dark red, large tan head, average retention (maybe below average but not poor). Aroma of roast, chocolate, earth, cherry. Taste is roast, chocolate, earth, cherry, raisin. Well balanced. Very nice. New brewery! Brewery #2267, USA #1863, Ill # 84.

16oz can. World Class stuff. What Negra Modelo could be/would be/isn't. Smooth and easy drinking, such finesse with the malts. Caramel-chocolate touched, never goes too deep. It isn't a Vienna. Dark Lager. Body is perfect....as is everything else, couldn't ask for a better example of the style.

Draft at Goldfinger. Clean, gold slow-pour pils with a thick white head. Smell does indeed offer some cracker-toast malt, and an unidentifiable note of fruit. Maybe it's just because it's on the description, but yes, I do have some impression of Riesling grape, and a slight spice of Noble hop. Less hip bitterness than the usual craft light lager, which gives it a bit of uniqueness. Plenty of foam legginess left in the glass. To bad they can't put out several of these hop varietals side by side for comparison, but there's too much time between them to keep them fresh.

Not sure I should enter this one-off firkin, but here we go. Black in the glass, with a thin, persistent ring of foam. Smooth coffee and chocolatey roast make nose, work no harshness. Buttery smooth taste to start, settles in with a bit of roastiness. Relaxing way to have more coffee.

16oz can. Rather delicious beer. Pulawski hops are completely new to me, but seem almost like a more restrained Nelson, mild white grape. Not much bitterness, which I would kind of want in a Polish Pils. Perfect body/mouthfeel. Good.

On tap at the brewery. Clear pale golden with medium white head. Bit grainy, touch of corn, easy drinkable, tad sweet, bitterish. What it says it is.
