16oz can c/o Ryan. Interesting beer, a slight departure from uber-classical stuff. I think of Sparkling Ales as an Australian thing. I'd imagine they have or had a more English tone there. Not sure. Great body, mouthfeel. Hop tone is classical but also a little bit of a juicy edge, not so much in the aroma as the flavor. Pretzely malts and quality corn tone collide. Good stuff, best example of the elusive Sparkling Ale I've had.

500ml bottle. Pretty much the ultimate Bock. So clean, perfect balance. Beautiful malt tone. World Class stuff.

Color here is gold heading toward Amber, creamy white head. Smell has the PNW pine rasin, papaya and citrus fruit. Taste is much bigger on hops than its started IBU would have you think. Very nicely bitter, then some tropical fruit up the side. Yet it keeps a dry finish. A lot of lace stays behind on the side of the glass. Hoppiness kind of requires you o drink this slowly. Just regret they didn't do a slow pour like their regular pills.

Draft at Goldfinger's 5th Lagerversary. Solid gold lager beer color with a thin layer of foam. Full noble hop nose. Sparkling, yes, though these are not quite champagne bubbles. Nice and dry along with some fine carbonation.

Draft at Goldfinger's 5th Lagerversary. Brown pour with a slight haze and a thin white head. Lots of caramel roast malt in the nose. Taste is lightly sweet, but more from its thick malts. Traditional German hopping comes in to make it all good.

16oz can. Very easy going Summer Lager. Has some faint malt tone, flowery hops, and a sort of sweet, smooth. A little hollow, not much going on, but incredibly drinkable. Grew on me a lot as I sipped at it. Unique. Good.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear, pale straw gold with a finger of white eggshell foam that lingers, then dissipates. Aromas of light grain and tortilla chips. Palate is crisp and clean with a slight dried honey sweetness and cereal grains. Balanced finish with nice carbonation.

16oz can. Scores high, deserves it. Practically perfect for the style. Amazing light and delicate body. Big smoked oak tone, pleasant wheat and hop balance. Really well done.

16oz can. World Class stuff, beautiful appearance, clean and clear tan-amber body. Head fades away to a thin glass rimming white film. A pinch undercarbonated. Malt tone and body are fantastic. Would love to see this go side by side on a Lukr with a Czech beer. Perhaps not quite as boldly hopped, but delicious and wondrously executed. Subtle nuances. No flaws.
