500ml bottle from Oddbins. Pours clear gold, thick whit e head kept in place by quite high carbonation. Aromas of lemon and a light floral note. Taste has a meadow-sweetness, and a light orange bitterness. Light, as you’d expect, but a solid blonde.

50cl bottle from Oddbins. Appearance - golden with gentle bubbles and a think head. Nose - meadow flowers abd custard Taste - lemon and pale malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - fairly balanced though it peaks on aroma for sure

Keg at Six D Abz. It pours clear golden amber with a small white head. The nose is grassy, dough, citrus peel, grain and toast. The taste is grassy, doughy, toast, light citrus, underlying sweetness and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty drinkable stuff.

Bottled. Clear deep golden, rich head. Fruity nose with some grass and notes of citrus. Mid dry with medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Slight butter, plenty of spicy hops. Long bitter finish.

Bottle, from Tomlinsons, split on the train from Inverness to Hereford 21/10/13. Clear golden blonde with a moderate white covering. Nose is citrus, lemon rind, grass, light floral notes. Taste comprises citrus fruit, touch of caramel, floral notes, toasted malts, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light grassy bitterness in the finish. Ok GB affair.

Bottle on the train from Thurso to Inverness, from Tomlinsons, 20/10/13. Very lightly hazed golden with a thin off white covering. Nose is toasted malts, citrus, orange, grass, subtle hop notes, caramel. Taste comprises orange pith, light peach, mandarin, juicy citrus notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitter notes in the finish. Decent drop.

Bottled. Almost clear dark amber. Aroma of gooseberry and hay. Mid dry with light body and crisp mouthfeel. Mid bitter finish, Nicely drinkable.

Appearance: Hazy amber body with a thin white head. Light carbonation. Nice lacing.
Taste: Light and fruity but with a sweetness from the malt to balance it nicely. Flavour of oranges and pine. Very clean.
Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: I don’t agree with this being listed as a Premium Bitter, this is an IPA. And a pretty good one, too.

Golden, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - soft sweet citrus fruits, tropical fruikts, sweet pale malt
Taste of tropical fruity hop, soft grapefuit, fairly sweet fruity pale malt, hint of orange zest
Palate - Light body, oily texture. Palate hoppy bitter with a sweet light pale malt background, fairly bitter zesty citrus hop finish
Overall - This 3.8% has more flavour than the dull 4.9% Randolph’s Leap Lager. A bit above average golden ale - not bad at all
