Description
Speyside Brewery is based in Moray Speyside, the heart of Scotland's malt whisky country. More than 50 distilleries are within a 30-mile radius of the brewery, using the same water for their iconic whiskies that we use to make our beer.

Founded by chemistry student Seb Jones in November 2012, the brewery produces a varied core range of beers - named after local
icons - as well as popular seasonal beers. We are proud to make them.

Brewery closed in 2020. Relaunched in Summer 2023 with a different beer lineup.

On keg at the Blue Blazer, Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a decent thin crema head. Red vhinks around the glass. Nose - coffee hit for sure but we’ll intermingled with the chocolate. Taste - mocca central. Creamy chocolate and coffee. There’s a light chilli note too. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry creamy finish. Overall - like this.

Bottle from Dobbies garden centre Ashford and drunk at home. Hazy dark amber colour lasting beige head. Sherbet hop aroma with some toffee. Earthy bitter. Yes an earthy british hop ipa. Yes over carbonated. But the flavours are good.
