Description
Speyside Brewery is based in Moray Speyside, the heart of Scotland's malt whisky country. More than 50 distilleries are within a 30-mile radius of the brewery, using the same water for their iconic whiskies that we use to make our beer.

Founded by chemistry student Seb Jones in November 2012, the brewery produces a varied core range of beers - named after local
icons - as well as popular seasonal beers. We are proud to make them.

Brewery closed in 2020. Relaunched in Summer 2023 with a different beer lineup.

Thanks to PriorL + Mathieu87 for sharing. Sampled draft @ BrewDog Brussels during BrewDog Collab Fest 2017. Orange little white head. Nose is dull sweet plastic orange peel, low caramel. Taste is just weird plastic, grainy, maybe some vague coconut, fruit is absent just strange plastic, weak taste. Disappointing.

Keg a tight BDSB - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has some simple pale bread, tangy lemon, pale grains. Light sweet flavour with flinty dryness, vague citrus, a little grass and plastic. Light bodied and flat. Bland finish, some muted lemon notes, hay, flinty dryness. Poor.

Keg at BD SB. It pours clear rich gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, juicy, marshmallow, creamy, pina collada, toasty grain and bread. The taste is soft, sweet, soft, marshmallow, toasty grain, grassy, tangy pineapple, vanilla, bit earthy, straw, pithy and a spice with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great idea, but doesn't resemble the cocktail as much as it should. Fair.
