Bottle from Waitrose. Appearance - bright yellow with a big generous head. Frantic bubbles. Nose - creamy orange with a yoghurt tang at the back. Taste - more of the orange and cream really. Like an orange mousse really. Palate - light bodied and creamy. Dry through the middle. Overall - got elements of Witbier going on. Decent if a touch one dimensional.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep orange to amber. Thin lacy head. Nose - red and orange fruit. Taste - ginger biscuit then into the fruit with orange or apricot. Toffee underpins it. Palate - mediumbodied and creamy. Dry finish. Overall - good if a touch sweeter than expected.

Keg at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Deep hazy gold with a middling white head. Lots of peach, orange and mango with a touch of pine. Like the tropical stuff, not sure the conifers go well with it. More pine in the mildly bitter finish. Still reasonably decent stuff though, even if I did go off it by the end.

Pours slightly hazy, dirty orange, topped with a thinner, though creamy white head. Mild fruity nose, sweet peaches, tropical fruits and some citruses. Slight sweetness in the start, more than moderate hoppy bitterness, slight biscuity back. Lasting aftertaste. Medium body. A bit shy on the nose, but decent and proper modern IPA.

Golden beer, thick white head. Grassy grapefruit smell. Taste is mellower than expected. Bittersweet citrus, dry hop and an airy, floral feel to it. Could have gone being a bit more chilled but it's crisp and tasty.

Bottle picked up from Waitrose, Cheltenham consumed at home Monday 4th September 2017 cooking Beouf a la Bourguignonne as well as Cauliflower Cheese, Macaroni Cheese after a fab EOTR Festival. Pours hazy amber with a white head. Really substantial mouthfeel a little syrupy perhaps, blisteringly hoppy in the mouth but balanced out by sweetness. Juicy but quite a bit boozy it's a bruiser. Good beer, I like it but could be more refined. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.7
