Decent well-rounded ipa. A little citrus, though this isn’t quite as fresh as it ought to be, and lots of malt. Pours orange with good head and lacing. Average carbonation. Finishes bitter with residual sweetness. Bottle at wvrst.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - massive thanks to Colin for sharing this whale. Pours pitch black with a thick and creamy beige-brown head. Burnt toast in the nose, some burnt marshmallows, roasted malts, dark chocolate. Medium to big sweet flavor but not at all cloying, with gooey chocolate, burnt bread, dark fruits. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate warmth at the end with bitter dark chocolate, light alcohol, dry wood, dirt, cocoa. Great stuff. Good balance, good depth.

Bottle - Grassy and some barnyard and citrus lemon grass. Cloudy gold with a bubbly head that dissipates. Effervescent with some fruit esters, a little banana and herbs, and some spice. Not bad for the Peg, I would prefer a little brighter but still a good showing.

Bottle - Sticky molasses, vanilla, bitter chocolate and bourbon. Jet black and minimal brown head. Brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate ...... So much is going on I don’t care to write just drink. This is no Dark Lord but for the price it is a killer. If you can get it buy it, I am going now to wipe out my local store stock.
