Bag in Box, at the Bailiffs Tap, Banbury, Oxon, Sunday 5th March 2017 Clear scarlet in colour, it’s a watery simple fruity cider, I’m guessing that some blackberries or blackberry syrup has been added. It’s ok but a bit too sweet. A5 A3 T5 P3 Ov10 2.6

Tall & thin 500ml bottle, present from Sarah & Jonny. Amber gold colour, no head and aroma of boozy apple, spices. Taste is sweet, apple, apple pie, some booze and tannic peppery and spicy notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, dry earthy warm tannic finish. Nicely sippable.

Bottle. Dark yellow colour. Moderate nice apple aroma. lioght swet and dry nice moderate apple flavor. Average finish. oily palate. great balance between sweetness and acids.

Poured from keg at The Rusty Bike, half pint shared with Finn. Bright golden (and not red) body. Shiny naked surface, no lacing. Sweet apples on the nose. Mid-sweet and dry apples to my taste buds. Quite refreshing and food friendly (Exeter pub crawl, 28.09.2016).

Note based rating. Hope to improve on it in the future:Bottle @ Sthlm Beer 2016. Tiny hazy pale golden pour with subtle legs. Very dry with fairly harsh cider apples. Intense with a light alcohol burn. Cool but I prefer the sweet ice ciders.

Tap/Bladder box ? at the Sheffield Tap, 20/05/16. Clear golden with a decent off white cap for a cider. Nose is sweet apple, straw, grains, light wood. Taste comprises apple pie, light booze and brandy, grains, straw, toffee apple. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok and drank fairly easy for the ABV but similarly failed to deliver in terms of depth.
