Cenná odborná praxe a hezké chvíle prožité v litovelském pivovaru, k tomu samozřejmě sládek Miroslav Koutek a poetické filmové zpracování Hrabalových Postřižin, bylo tím správným nasměrováním mého srdce.

1L PET bottle sample, thanks Tderoeck.

Big 1.5L plastic bottle, shared by Mowbeer. You honestly don’t expect anything poured from a soda bottle could taste this good. A czech single hop lager but think more like a single hop IPA. It has a light golden body with a very unique hop nose woodsy apparently saaz! Light easy drinking great stuff. Sublime.

Bottle from a trade from Mowbeer my first Czech polotmavy! Poured from a clear stubby bottle that evokes a Caribbean soda more than anything else. A clear amber gold with a thin off white head. The nose is a bready light caramel. Nice light zesty body. The taste is buttery diacetyl(which Mowbeer told me is something Czechs want from this style) caramel with an earthy edge to it. The flavor is decent but it is tough for me to get over diacetyl which I see as an off-flavor when it is so obviously present. Alright.

Bottle shared by Mowbeer. Czech single hop a light golden lager with a prickly pine nose and a hearty woodsy pine cone nose. The flavor is crisp & clean  but nowhere near läger like. This is damn good stuff.

Bottle(děkuji plzeňským klukům!!!):As black as ink - nebo černý jako smůla - , bigger and slowly collapsing loose tanned head; dryish - but still a bit sweet - caramelly and fruity nose; light to moderate bitter flavour, not too dry, not really light bodied; slightly lingering dryish and toasty finish. Nice surprise…
